Elite theory is one of the theory that is used to examine the power structure in a certain society.

According to elite theory. Some society is controlled only by small group of people that gather together and make decision for the society. The decision could most likely benefit only this elite group and brought disaster for others, but the elite group can overlooked it as long as their goals are fulfilled.
