    K increase:

    - main competitor for food is eliminated, increasing food availability

    - an abandoned building increasing nest area

    K Decrease:

    - Wetlands drained, decreasing water supply

    - Parking lot built, shrinking habitat

    - There's a new species that require the same food

    K not affected

    - Offspring live longer
