Kara, 17, wants a computer of her own. She goes to a local electronics store to purchase a new computer system. The computer costs $950. She offers to put down $150 and make monthly payments on the remaining amount. Because Kara is only 17, the manager refuses to sell her the computer.

a. Is this fair?

b. Is this legal?

    A. The decision of the manager is only fair because of the fact that she is under age and their is no proof that can consider that she can pay the remaining monthly payments,

    b. This is legal as the store can refuse to whom they want to sell their product based on a certain guideline

    c. The manager's concern in selling the product to the minor besides of not having any legal documents is a proof of how the minor may be able to pay the remaining balance.
