    Conditioned stimulus

    Explanation:

Ivan Pavlov has given the term classical conditioning in which he studied the behavior of the dogs and examine that how people associate two different stimuli in their mind and tends to react to one of the stimuli as though it was the other stimuli.

In the experiment of classical conditioning, the conditioned stimulus is considered as a substitute or neutral stimulus that prompt the same response in any organism including human beings as an unconditioned stimulus. After the recurrent exposure, the neutral or substitute stimulus becomes paired with the unconditioned response and turns out to be a conditioned stimulus.
