    Explanation:

    There are not enough resources to satisfy what each and individual would desire to have or want to have.

    What a person have is not always what they want, for example a person may have a million dollar house but in reality they want to have a 10 million dollar house hence their wants exceeds what they already have.

    This is always the case with most of us what ever we have we would want to have more than that.

    Someone who lives in rural area with a four bedroom house would like to be living in townhouse with 8 bedrooms.
