Attractive faces than unattractive ones

Research indicates that infants generally look at attractive faces for longer periods compared to unattractive faces. This is because the perception and preference for beauty is biologically hardwired and innate even in infants. Infants associate attractive faces as being more typically human compared to unattractive faces and thus stare longer at them.
