Pass a Bill: When a bill is assigned to the senate, it is expected that a simple majority of 51 out 100 passes the bill.

Submit a hold: This requires at least two senators aiming to hold the legislation

Overturn Presidential Veto: To do this, it is expected that tow thirds of the senators must vote in support. Two-thirds of the Senators voting. It is required that a quorum (2/3 of senators) be present and must all agree.

Invoke Cloture: A minimum of 16 senators are expected to sign a petition. After which two-thirds must be present and voting.
