How did the invasion of the Huns affect the roman empire

Forced Germanic and Persian tribes into Roman lands, undercut Rome's tax base, and demanded expensive tribute. Rome was then always in constant warfare, began losing arts, and science. Basically sent the Roman empire backwards.

Well it was a huge migration of people into Roman Land. Which lead to Romans accepting certain tribes and then political problems and betrayal lead to some those tribes attacking the romans. Other tribes stayed in roman territories and fought for the Romans as auxiliaries. Also the Romans at this time. The western part was falling in power and couldn't control its lands. So the eastern part just paid off the Huns to attack the Barbarians that poss a threat. In full affect the Huns basically attacked Eastern Roman Empire enemies and drove them into western Romans empire that lead to then down fall entirely
