    Kenya borrows its government structure heavily from the united states after it abandoned its independence westminister constitution.

    the president is the chief ececutive and the commander of the armed forces and is elected by popular mandate.

    She has a bicameral house, senate and national assembly that is the chief law making organ.

    she also have a judiciary headed by the chief justice who islao the president of the supreme court.

    The country is divided into forty seven autonomous counties led by governors.

    Elections of all elected official is done every five years on the first tuesday of august.
