Well, geographically speaking, the Dust Bowl is associated with the problematic and uncontrolled use of the soil and natural resources during the Roaring Twenties (1920 - 1930). Historically speaking, this natural disaster is associated with the Great Depression (1929 - 1933). However, the Dust Bowl took almost ten years until disappearing.

    Explanation:

Agricultural and economic damage devastated the Great Plains. The Dust Bowl has worsened the already severe economic crises many farmers faced during the Great Depression. In the early 1930s, many of them sought to recover from economic losses. Big production has lowered prices, forcing farmers to further increase their crops to pay their land and their debts. With the impact of the drought, farmers could no longer produce enough to repay loans and their basic needs. Even with federal emergency aid, many Great Plains farmers could not withstand the economic crisis of the drought. Many were forced to leave their land.
