The Spaniards left for Tenochtitlan, on their way they received gifts and warnings from Montezuma so that they did not arrive in Mexico, they were told that they would not be welcome because the people were angry, but Hernán Cortés ignored them and continued towards the conquest of Mexico. Later they received the most important caciques, then was Moctezuma, finally met with kind greetings and the Aztec god invited them to enter Tenochtitlan and stay in the palace of his father, they were housed with precautions in case it was a trap Cortes tried to convince Moctezuma to follow a true religion and accept his king Carlos I but Moctezuma kindly rejected everything.
