You were biologically liable to connect taste and nausea.

Taste aversion is a situation in which an animal connects the taste of a food with the symptoms produced by toxic, poisonous or spoilt substance. Taste aversion is formed having taken in food that leads to nausea or vomiting. The ability of one to develop a taste aversion is said to be an adaptative feature in which the body learns to avoid things that are poisonous or that can cause harm.

You were biologically predisposed to associate taste and nausea.

    Explanation:

The nausea and vomiting was caused by the new food ingested. It has nothing to do with the environment. The food isn't compatible with the body system. This is the reason for the vomiting and when such individual tastes or smells the food, a signal is sent and the body reacts the same way as in the first encounter.
