    Birth control is any method used to prevent pregnancy. There are many different methods of birth control like condoms, IUDs, birth control pills, the rhythm method, vasectomy, and tubal ligation.

    With the technological innovation of birth control methods, society has tow a different direction in the last 100 years. It has changed the way women view sex, pregnancy and life in general. Premarital sexual practices increased because people belived there are now no consequences to sex since there ways to prevent pregnancy. Women's roles in life have generally been affected. They believe we can have a baby when we want so lets advance our careers untill we are ready for the responsibility of a child, Sex has become cheap due to all this and moral values are declining.

With the development of birth control pills and methods, fertility trends, policies, women health, premarital sexual practices, women's careers and roles, relation and family roles have been drastically affected. Women can now control birth so as to pursue their careers, premarital sex is on the increase with fewer unwanted pregnancies resulting. Birth control has affected different aspect of our cultural values and institutions.
