Who were the ancestors of the people of African descent who live in the guianas today

    I believe the answer is: African slaves who worked on European sugar plantations

    In the Past Guianas was a part of European's colony and it has a large quantity of sugar whcih was a really hot commodities among Europeans.

    In order to increase the efficiency of production, the European brought a lot of slave labors to Guianas. After their independence, the ex-slaves decided to stay at that place and make it their new home.
