Louisiana has parishes and Alaska has boroughs; Rhode Island and Connecticut do not have counties.

    Explanation:

The states of Louisiana and Alaska have functionally equivalent subdivisions called parishes (Louisiana) and boroughs (Alaska); that is to say, does subdivisions are comparable to counties. Meanwhile, in the states of Rhode Island and Connecticut counties have been abolished as goverments but not as entities for administrative purposes.
