How is hurston's reaction to the music in jazz clubs different from the reactions of the white people who accompany her there?

    In jazz club, Hurston felt the music and danced, and other didn't. White people only hear the music they do not have the emotional response that Hurston does. Unlike Hurston, white people do not feel the music throughout their bodies.
