    I believe the answer is: C. negative as it threatens local biodiversity

    In the scenario, in order to provided space for the new crops, the people around that area would have to most likely eliminate some other type of crops.

    This may threaten the local biodiversity because even if the new crops is proven to be more nutritious for humans, there is no proof that it might be the case for other organisms.
