The Halo effect is a cognitive bias. It is about the impression of a particular person or things that what we feel, express about them and their character. When you evaluate a person that what we express that what a nice person is an example of a halo effect. Perception is the single trait that expresses people's perception of other people.

For instance, the great impression of celebrities because people think that they are successful, attractive, beautiful and likable.
