While trying to type, a user reports that his notebook is randomly moving the cursor or mouse, which causes him to make a lot of typing errors. What action can the technician take to solve the issue for the user?

    Explanation:

    Touch-pad of the mouse is the part on which fingers of the user are placed for moving the cursor's position on the laptop or computer screen. This part is sensitive towards pressure of the hand.

    Disabling touch-pad in laptop from given button or key can stop the irregular and random movement of cursor. Random movement of cursor can be caused due to contact of palm or fingers with touch-pad while the user is typing something through keyboard in laptop.
