I think the answer is B. South

It the earlier settlement, Germans and Irisih immigrants first came to the now south Carolina and Kansas City. They technically came from the eastern sea, but they population started to build their culture in Kansas and south Carolina, mostly because these states are rich in crops that could be used to make beers.
