is it possible for animals to substitute for humans in terms of companionship and friendship?

    I don't see why not animals are just like humans but don't have the brain of 100% knowledge you can say they have 2% although humans only use 25% of their brain (Albert Einstein). BUT they so have the ability to have emotions, they feel sometime happy when they see a toy, mad when you pet them too much ... etc

    so your answer is yes
