Why is cultural appropriation wrong? Could it ever be good?

Cultural appropriation means the mocking of another culture. Often times these days, people copy another culture's style due to admiration. Unfortunately, many people don't see this as admiration, but as appropriation. I believe it could be a good thing if more people began seeing it as a form of admiration.
