What natural process most likely caused red coloring on a landform?

    Red color on land forms is caused due to presence of iron oxide or hematite naturally. As land forms are continuously exposed to these natural elements whose minerals leads to Oxidization or commonly known as Rusting which results in red, orange, brown color rocks.
