There is a lot of talk these days about the need for greater fuel economy in SUVs. But today's SUV's are excellent just the way they are.     In fallacy, which is a mistaken belif held by someone as a result of unsound argument, it could be said that, there are various categories of it depending on the premises on which the conclusion was drawn.

    In the case scenario above, it is the fallacy of begging the question which is assumption of a statement to be true by ignoring the question. The person left the question on SUV fuel economy to talk about the excellent fetures of different SUV hence him or her committing fallacy of begging the question.
