    State of the Union Address is a speech given by the President of the United States annually to bring up, and identify any issues that the nation is currently facing. This power is given to the President by Article II, Section 3 which states " give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient."
