How did halving the rabbit population affect the grass snackes and hawk at first?

    At first, the increasing rabbit population would definitely increase the Grass snakes and hawk populations.

    Rabbit is the main foods of both these animals. If the population of rabbit is increased both the snakes and hawks wouldn't experienced deaths due to food shortage (which is very common under normal circumtances), and this will make their population to increase,
