You're the boss, so I know it is ultimately your decision who gets raises and who doesn't. But on my own behalf, I must say that I definitely deserve a raise this year. After all, when people believe they deserve a raise but they don't get one, then their productivity often decreases dramatically. You don't want to see my productivity decrease, do you?

    Incentives motivates better performance hence there's a need to always make use of such measure to ensure greater input and output.
