Explain the ideology of humanism/what are some of its main beliefs? Is it a religion?

    Humanism emphasizes people as individuals or collectively and relies more on rational thought than on faith. Humanism is not a religion and is more of an ideology, which relies on understanding science to understand the world, instead of understanding it through religion. It can also be seen as a life-stance or life-position on regards to the human question and how we should act by ourselves and as a society. It equally pushes for evidence and critical thinking.
