    Answer: D. People should view the Bible as their sole authority

    There are five principles of Puritanism. Among these principles is that the man has no control whether he goes to heaven or hell because God has predestined everything. Salvation may be rewarded due to good faith. Man also are sinners from the start. The idea of the Bible being the sole authority is not part of Puritans' principle.
