In the medieval age art was done only related to religions and most of the middle age arts were done by either the priests or the monks.

    Explanation:

Arts were done to preach their religion and influence the people more about their religion. Biblical narrations were done by art so that people can understand them easily. The modern art which overtook the medieval art was renaissance art and in this art more attention was paid to the body parts and this art was also based on religious themes.

Paintings of the middle ages did not contain the depth nor the detailed elaboration of the painting but renaissance art gave more attention to every minute and keen details of the structure.
