How did Americans respond to the issue of segregation in schools?

    Some, were fond of the idea, of not being with the other races, bu their were some that decided to protest agianst the issue and tried to change it, so all races would be allowed in schools, now we are allowed to have any race in schools, so we did get what some of us wanted at the time.
