When we say that the United States Constitution is the "supreme law of the land" what do we mean? A. This means that the United States Constitution only has laws that govern land and property. B. This means that the laws set forth in the United States Constitution are superior to any laws set by individual states. C. This means that the United States Constitution is more powerful than any other country's constitution. D. This is not a very meaningful sentence and it holds no special significance in the Constitution.
