Dignity basically means high status in Romeo and Juliet.
Explanation:
In Romeo and Juliet, the Montague's and Capulet's both share a high status of wealth, and hold upper class in Verona. While they have a high status, they are bound to love each other even though they are on the opposing sides of the story.
