    Wendi is learning gender-typic behavior through being forced to play with objects that are culturally "allowed" for her gender. Through reinforcement, or in this case, taking away items that are culturally "male" and giving her items that would be considered "feminine," she is developing a schema of what "boys" and "girls" play with.
