It has been determined that a tumor is in stage 2. what is the meaning of this finding

    Stage II cancer and tumors are locally invasive. This means that they are larger than stage I tumors, but have not begun to spread outside of the local area in which they were first discovered. However, there are also some types of stage II cancers that can be shown to have spread into the lymph nodes near the tumor.
