    New Amsterdam was formed by the settlement of Dutch in 1626 which was built next to harbor on the south of Manhattan Island where the "Hudson river flows into the Atlantic Ocean". The fur trading to Europe is done through which sails between Hudson to New Amsterdam. The Dutch used the Hudson river which was major considered as highway for trade.
