1. What are some of the metaphors that Elvis uses in his songs?

I like one from the song "Hound Dog". He sings "You ant nothin' but a hound dog cryin' all the time ..." comparing whoever he is singing to a hound dog. He means by that they are crying all the time and complaining like a hound dog.
