How should food be stored to avoid cross-contamination:

a. store ready-to-eat food on the bottom shelf, below raw meat

b. store meat with a higher cooking temperature below meat with a lower cooking temperature

c. store meat with a lower cooking temperature below meat with a higher cooking temperature

d. raw meat can be stored near ready-to-eat food if covered. submit answer?

    The answer is letter b, it is because meat with higher cooking temperature should be at the bottom and the lower cooking temperature meat must be above them. It is because the higher cooking temperature meat are the ones who has exhibits more bacteria compared of the other foods, that's why it must be at the bottom to prevent cross contaminated.
