What is the difference between meiosis I

and meiosis II

    The genetic material is duplicated at the interface. In meiosis I the homologous chromosomes are divided into two daughter cells, the cross-linking phenomenon occurs. In meiosis II as in a mitosis, each chromatid migrates to a pole. The result is four haploid daughter cells
