Answer: B. Very dense particles settle faster than low-density particles.

Erosion is a natural process in which the surface layer of the soil or rock is removed and the sediments are dislocated and transported to other locations. This occur because of the effect of the physical agents such as wind and water. After the event of erosion the materials or sediments which are displaced they settled on the basis of their density.

Very dense particles settle faster than the low density particles because more dense particles exhibit larger mass per unit volume, they are heavier and gravity will act more on these particles and causing them to settle faster than the less dense particles.
