The answer is anthrax. Anthrax refers to a disease caused by a species of bacteria called Bacillus anthracis. There are four forms of the bacterial infection: skin, lungs, intestinal, and injection. Symptoms of skin infection include small blisters on the skin which then turn into ulcers with black centers. Symptoms of lung infection include fever, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Intestinal infection results in bloody diarrhea, abdominal pains, and nausea and vomiting. Infection through injection results in fever and an abscess at the site of injection.
