Suppose a population is carrying a condition controlled by two alleles: P (dominant) and p (recessive). Only homozygous individuals that have two copies of the recessive allele have the condition.     Considering the question is asking only for the percentage of the P allele, then the correct answer is A - 89 percent.

    This is correct because we always have a combination of 2 alleles, either PP, Pp or pp. If from all these the p allele is found only in 11% then the remaining 89% are from the P allele.
