    Explanation:

    Biomass is the organic material obtain from plants and animals. It contains the stored energy from the sun. As the plants absorb the sunlight energy for the synthesis of their food. This energy circulates in the entire food chain as the plants are consumed by the other organisms. When the biomass is burned it generates energy in the form of heat. Examples of biomass includes wood and the wood processing wastes, agricultural crops and waste materials generated after harvesting, animal dung and human sewage.

    Therefore, on the basis of above explanation, burning of wood for generating energy is the example of biomass energy.
