Karen has type 1 diabetes, and she often forgets to administer insulin to herself. why does her breath usually have a fruity odor?

    Karen’s breathe has a smell of fruity odor because of the ketones in which they are likely produced because insulin is not enough in the body of the individual. Karen did not inject insulin in her body in which is required for a person with type 1 diabetes, making her mouth smell a fruity odor.
