    beta-hemolysis

    Explanation:

Streptococci is gram-positive bacteria that lack catalase and oxidase but can cause beta hemolysis. Beta hemolysis is referred to as the incidence of complete lysis of red blood cells in the media around and under the colonies of Streptoccal growth. The lysis of red blood cells is caused due to the production of streptolysin by these bacteria. Streptolyiss is a type of an exotoxin which is responsible for the complete lysis of the red blood cells.
