What is causing the overgrowth of plankton and algae that chokes out other life forms?

    The answer is rising ocean temperatures. Global warming which is cause by the human activities which has carbon dioxide raised the worldwide temperature about 1 degree Fahrenheit. The atmosphere affects the ocean and this also affects atmosphere. When the temperature rises the ocean will absorb the heat and will then be warm.
