How is a crepuscular schedule an adaptation of desert animals to heat and lack of water in their environment?

Animals that come out right before dark preserve water because at twilight, like 6:30pm, the sun is going down and it isn't as hot as the afternoon. Animals who come out at this time are least likely to sweat and in turn save water.
