Demonstrate the use of the mathematical formula for finding the number of possible combinations of chromosomes pairs that can be made in an organism. Use an organism with diploid cells that have five pairs of chromosomes for your demonstration.

    A diploid organism is said to be 2n it has 2 copies of every chromosome.

    A gamete of a diploid organism is to be said n because it has 1 copy of every chromosome.
