The type of vitamin that will be absorbed from the intestine into lacteals is the fat soluble vitamins. Fat soluble vitamins are vitamins that are stored in the body fro long periods of time, and pose a greater risk of toxicity than the other type of vitamins (water soluble vitamins). They are vitamins A, D, E, and K, they dissolve in fat and that's why they can be stored in the body. Water soluble vitamins need to dissolve in water before they can be absorbed by the body. They include vitamin B complex.
