Describe the lytic cycle.

    "The lytic cycle is one of the two cycles of viral reproduction, the other being the lysogenic cycle. The lytic cycle results in the destruction of the infected cell and its membrane"

    I do know some things about it, but not much.

    A phage infects a specific type of cell.

    It then somehow hacks into the host DNA, programming it to replicate the phage.

    The phage replicates into many more phages.

    The call is destroyed, eventually freeing the phage to attack more cells-ish
